The 2 years we have been with the centre my daughter progressed from low marks, now this student achieves B+ and A on her last report card. My daughter struggled for many years but now is at or above par thanks to the amazing staff at the Academy for Mathematics & English tutoring centre.

Hi Marc,

Just wanted to let you know with tutoring A___ went from a 73% at midterm to an 81% final grade in his grade 10 Math class. He got 86% on his final exam so he was really pleased with the results.

We would like to thank you from the bottom if our hearts. SR, our daughter, was coming to you for exam prep for an entrance exam to the vet tech program at Georgian College Orillia.

The exam is the HOAE (Health Occupation Aptitude Exam). They only accept 60 or so students with well over 1000 applicants … last year there was 1400 applicants … and with Sherill’s hard work and your guidance … she was accepted to her program.

You have been the most amazing partner in our daughter’s journey and for that you will forever be a part of her journey.

My son started tutoring at Academy for Mathematics & English at the Essa Road location in Barrie in grade 10. He struggled in academic math as he had large gaps in his learning and lacked confidence in himself. Marc the director took the time to get to know the learning style and interests of our son and matched him with amazing tutors that connected with him. The gaps were closed and our son has now graduated with great grades in math and physics. He is now in his first year of college studying his dream job, commercial aviation!! Our daughter did really well on her EQOA, two 4’s and a 3+. She will not be required to write her math exam. Depending on when she has math in grade 10, I will either be contacting you in the summer or winter to arrange for more tutoring. I cannot thank you and your staff enough! Not only did you bring her grades up to an amazing place, you also gave her confidence, not only in math but her other subjects. We’ve had such a great experience with You!

I just wanted to say thank you for providing me with your Math tutoring help. It helped a lot in raising my marks past anything I thought I could ever accomplish. I ended up increasing them by ten percent from my original mid-term Math marks. I know your tutoring was the cause. Thank you again for everything.

I have had a wonderful time at the Academy. I want to thank my tutor Kayla who introduced me to the fun of math. Kayla also helped me learn a lot in math. My tutor Se has also helped me learn a lot in English. She was also the one who took me for my first day there. I wrote this because I am now leaving. Hope things are great with you! With help from you, our daughter maintained honour roll for all her years in high school and was accepted to Queen’s University. She’s having a fantastic year so far!

Now her younger sister is requiring some math help as well. She is an excellent student but is having trouble understanding the program this year. She is in grade 10. I was hoping that you might have time for her to join the Academy.
