The Alpine Kitchener Academy for Mathematics & English was a proud sponsor of the Indian festival of lights called Diwali. The event was hosted by Naman Canada on October 13th at the Stanley Park Community Center.

There was a large crowd celebrating this happy occasion. The program included classical Indian dancing and singing along with children showcasing their talent in the contemporary genre. The highlight of the evening was a play called ‘Ramlila‘ which depicts the Hindu god Rama’s life. The evening ended with a delicious dinner and door prizes.

The directors, Sandeep and Sangeeta, spoke with many parents who were eager to enroll their child to help them strengthen their academic skills. It was a successful and fun evening for everyone!
